Stage 2 Carbine
Course Details
This eight-hour class is for intermediate and advanced students looking to refine their skills. If you have a strong foundation, and you’re proficient in intermediate skills, this is the course for you. Building on the skills from the foundation class, this class will add stress from a timer and cardiovascular activity to shooting drills to simulate real-world self-defense environments. Students will find their limits, learn their weaknesses, and develop strategies to maintain speed and accuracy. This class assumes you will be confident and ready to go. There will be no refreshing of basic firearm handling or marksmanship principles. This class is designed to challenge your mastery of gun handling fundamentals and test your accuracy with time, physical exertion, and distance pressure. Participants are required to have either a valid Alaska concealed carry permit, current law enforcement or military identification, or a State of Alaska background check prior to participating in this class. All students must have also taken the Stage 1 class and been approved by an instructor. Please note that each platform (handgun, carbine, shotgun) has a separate training course..

“Two-day concealed carry class was attended by myself, my daughter, and a friend—all of us at different comfort levels and experiences with handguns. The staff was very professional, direct and nice…I would highly recommend this organization for any training they offer.”

I was pleased with the schooling I received at the private training facilities. Steve and his partner Slow Poke did a great job one-upping my skill level. They commended a safe environment and were clearly experienced and professional…I would train there again.
Jenn Graham
Fantastic group of people. I purchased a firearm and have taken two classes and multiple private lessons. If you’re a beginner, I highly recommend this company.

I recently took the Level 1 Pistol class with my girlfriend, who was terrified of firearms, and it was an amazing experience. I can honestly say this class really reassured, corrected, and improved our fundamentals. I trained with Steve and Danny, amazing instructors…

Great class and an awesome experience. The instructors took time to work one-on-one with students and help fine-tune even the most minor details to get the most of every shot. I’m looking forward to an excuse to come to Anchorage again soon.
