This is a 4-hour course for the serious conceal carry individuals who want to take their training to the next level.

Scenario training for the civilian or armed citizen using modern techniques against an armed assailant in various environments.

Rather in the home, work place or other structures, being able to evaluate yourself and your abilities to correspond and act accordingly in these high stress situations.

This is a force-on-force course using marking pistols with protective gear, holsters and other specific equipment to enhance the understanding of a realistic experience.

Pre-Requisite: Stage 1 Handgun or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE

Safe handling and manipulation of the firearm
Fundamentals of marksmanship: stance, grip, front sight focus, trigger press, trigger reset
Multiple target engagement
Accuracy at multiple distances
Manipulation of weapon system: loading, unloading, reloading, press checks, draw from the holster (handgun only), malfunction clearances.

REQUIREMENTS

Cost $195
Alaska Tactical Stage 1 handgun course or equivalent
Blue gun for mock training
Protective gear will be provided

HANDGUN

Additional requirements for those bringing their own firearm:

600 rounds of ammunition
Full-size or midsize, semi-automatic handgun with at least four magazines
Outside-the-waistband hip holster and magazine pouch
Appropriate clothing for the weather, including a ball cap, closed-toe footwear, and ear and eye protection to ensure your safety
